Black Oystercatcher Productivity | MARINe

The Black Oystercatcher is the charismatic, signature bird of rocky intertidal, one of California’s and the west coast’s iconic habitats. Until recently little was known of its status and distribution in California. Since 2011, a unique collaboration led by Audubon California has worked to collect baseline information, describe threats to its population, and develop conservation strategies.  For more information click here.
