The ShoreCast Tool displays the following metrics geospatially, allowing visualization of ecological patterns and shifts along the rocky intertidal coastline:
- Species distribution data under different sea level rise scenarios
- Ecological community metrics (e.g., biodiversity) and
- Levels of propagule contribution (larvae, spores) from locations as donor sites and into locations as recipient sites.
