Golden Gate Fields

Golden Gate Fields is located in California, in San Francisco Bay. This moderately sloping site consists of moderately uneven terrain, containing few cracks and folds.

Golden Gate Fields is dominated by rip rap, and the area surrounding the site is comprised of natural and rip rap boulder fields. The primary coastal orientation of this site is south.

Golden Gate Fields was established in 2009 as part of a Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA).  Point contact, photo plot, motile invertebrate, and Fucus size structure surveys were done as part of the NRDA.
