Point Isabel

Point Isabel is located in California, in San Francisco Bay. This site is near the Emeryville Mussel Watch site. This gently sloping site consists of moderately uneven terrain, containing few cracks and folds.

Point Isabel is dominated by natural and rip rap boulder fields, and the area surrounding the site is comprised of natural and rip rap boulder fields. The primary coastal orientation of this site is west.

Point Isabel was established in 2007 and resampled in 2009 as part of a Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA). Point contact, photo plot, motile invertebrate, and Fucus size structure surveys were done as part of the NRDA.

Point Isabel is also a site where rockweed restoration has taken place (between 2015 and 2016).

Point Isabel was revisited in 2017 to collect baseline data for comparison in the event of any more damage to natural resources.
